EOS Summer Reunion - A Turkish Food Adventure
On Saturday, 21 July 2012, Enugu Old Skool will get together in London to network in the community spirit in which most of us grew up. It has been a huge testament to this spirit that Chris Odili and Chu-Chu Nwajiobi sat down one day and felt that urge to create a community organisation that all of us that share this history can sit under and never lose friends we shared so many beautiful memories with.
In a very short space of time, on-line membership of the group grew to the current over 3,300 members. The community has found a way to tap into the social media in a way no other City based group has been able to. A huge testament to Coal City and the wonderful experience and privilege we all got from growing up there.
In the years since our first re-union, we have had several parties and a very successful Xmas Charity Drive that spread cheer to disadvantaged children from Surrey in the UK, to Lagos, Abuja and, of course, Enugu. This is very typical of the values we grew up to.
These achievements have been reached with voluntary contributions from so many people. All with nothing but love for the community.
So this year, we prepare to start our three year plan of reunions at:
